Miscreants rob gold worth Rs. 3 crore in Bihar

Law and order in Bihar is going to be questioned on the next day. In the state, the spirits of robbers and crime have become so high that nowadays they steal gold worth crores of rupees. The latest case is of Smart City Bhagalpur, where miscreants have robbed gold worth Rs 3 crore. The robbers stole two kg of gold on Saturday morning in the huge Sonika Jewelers near Khalifabag Chowk, after which the area was stirred. SSP Nitasha Gudiya of Bhagalpur, several senior officers reached the spot as soon as the news of the robbery of gold was received.

Even before this, there have been reports of gold robbery in the state many times. On 9 December 2020 near Tower Chowk of Nagar police station area in Darbhanga district, armed criminals looted gold worth Rs 5 crore from Alankar Jewelers in broad daylight. In the midst of the loot, the criminals were firing several rounds.

After the robbery, the Darbhanga police released a list of ten criminals from outside the district. In this case, the police has seized some of the looted gold so far and some people have also been detained. The criminals have looted gold in many districts of Bihar. In addition to Darbhanga, gold worth Rs 10 crore was looted from Muthoot Finance in Bhagwanpur Golambar of Sadar police station of Muzaffarpur. 55 kg gold was also looted from Hajipur Stathi Muthoot Finance.
