Big news has come out from Faridkot in Punjab. Karna Kataria alias Ashu (35), a contractor, shot and killed his wife Sheenam (32) and two children, son Roes (7) and daughter Jaswi (3), from his revolver in Narayan Nagar on Firozpur Road, Faridkot after which the accused also shot himself.

Karna, Rois, and Jaswi have died of bullet injuries while Sheenam is in critical condition. Sheenam has been admitted to the local Guru Gobind Singh Medical College Hospital. It has been learned that Ashu alias Karna, who had taken the contract for electricity and street light work in the city, was mentally disturbed for some days. Due to this problem, he has taken these suicide steps on Saturday morning. However, information on the real reasons for the case will be revealed only after investigation. The district police is investigating the case.

SP Seva Singh Malli said that he had received information that Karna Kataria, who was a contract worker, had shot himself, shooting his wife and children. After getting the information, he has reached the spot and the whole matter is being investigated. He said that the police has also got a small suicide note based on which the police is investigating.
