Kabul: Thousands of people are fleeing their homes from Taliban-controlled areas in the northern part of Afghanistan. Many of them have spoken of the brutal actions taken by Taliban fighters. People said dead bodies were scattered on the streets in Taliban-controlled areas. The girls are being kidnapped and forcibly expelled from Taliban fighters. Young people are being asked to fight on behalf of the Taliban. Most people from Taliban-held areas have fled to the capital Kabul.
We have seen dead bodies lying on the street near the prison, said Fariba, 36, a mother and widow of six children after the Taliban's occupation of Kunduz. Dogs were standing near forces. Mirwaiz Khan Amiri, 22, who fled Kunduz to Kabul, said three days ago the Taliban killed a barber simply because he thought he worked for the government. But he was just a barber. Amiri said they are killing people they suspect work for the government. Another person Abdul Mannan said the Taliban beheaded his son.
Marwa, a 25-year-old widow who fled the city of Talocan to Kabul, said she feared she would be expelled from Taliban fighters. She said I heard that my 16-year-old cousin had been forcibly married to a Taliban fighter. He was already determined to have a relationship with someone. Marwa said that when a family consists of two girls, the Taliban takes a girl and gets her married to its fighter. On the other hand, if there are two boys in the house, they take one to participate in the war. Another widow said her son had been murdered in front of his house.
