GAZA: In a series of intense air strikes across Gaza, at least 33 Palestinians lost their lives on Friday, according to medical sources. The Israeli military targeted the Halimah al-Saadiyah school in northern Gaza, resulting in the death of eight individuals who were sheltering in tents. Additionally, five fatalities were reported at the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in a staggering death toll, with at least 40,878 Palestinians killed and 94,454 injured since the conflict began. On October 7, Hamas-led attacks resulted in 1,139 casualties in Israel.

In a related development, former Israeli Shin Bet head, Nadav Argaman, has publicly criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the management of the Philadelphi Corridor—a key border area between Gaza and Egypt. Argaman claims Netanyahu has misrepresented the significance of this corridor, stating that the majority of smuggling into Gaza occurs via the Rafah border crossing, not the Philadelphi Corridor.

Argaman urged for an immediate ceasefire and an exchange of all prisoners, expressing concern over what he describes as an extremist government steering Israel towards dangerous paths. He emphasized the need for a swift resolution to the Gaza conflict to safeguard Israel’s future.
