Death Number reached to 36 in Hirakhand Express Derailment

The Hirakhand Express derailed last night near Kuneru railway station in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district. The Jagdalpur-Bhubaneshwar train seven coaches- the luggage van, two general compartments, two sleeper coaches, an AC three-tier coach and an AC two-tier coach are derailed.

The number of passengers who lost their life in the incident has increased to 36 while many persons has sufffered injuries. 

Suresh Prabhu, the Railway Minister has announced Rs 2 lakh compensation for the family of deceased while Rs 25,00 for injured ones and Rs 50,000 for critically injured ones.
