Amritsar: Congress leader Ravneet Singh Bittu has been threatened with murder on WhatsApp. On Tuesday, he received a message that said he would have the same fate as Sidhu Musewala. Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead. The private security staff of Congress MP from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu confirmed the threat.
Moose Wala was killed on May 29 in Mansa district. He was fired at by 8 sharpshooters. Today, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi also arrived to meet the family of Moose Wala. It was being told that out of the eight sharpshooters involved in the killing of Moose Wala, three are from Punjab. Apart from this, there are two each from Haryana and Maharashtra and one each from Rajasthan. A day before the murder of Moose Wala, the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab had reduced his security.

In the threatening letter, GB and LB are said to mean Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. Lawrence Bishnoi is being considered as the main accused in the Moose Wala murder case. However, Lawrence Bishnoi has denied having any connection with the letter sent to Salman.
