Moscow: The death toll from the attack at a concert hall in Moscow on Friday has risen to 115, according to Russia's Investigative Committee. On Saturday, eleven individuals were arrested, including four identified as "terrorists," as confirmed by the Kremlin. Russian lawmaker Alexander Khinshtein revealed that the attackers had fled in a Renault vehicle, which was later intercepted by police in the Bryansk region, approximately 340 km southwest of Moscow. Following a car chase, two suspects were apprehended, while the remaining two escaped into a nearby forest. Inside the vehicle, authorities discovered a pistol, an assault rifle magazine, and passports from Tajikistan.

The assailants stormed the concert hall in western Moscow, unleashing gunfire on the crowd, resulting in multiple fatalities. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack via affiliated channels on social media. This incident, the deadliest in Russia in years, engulfed the concert hall in flames. Emergency vehicles swiftly responded to the scene, located at Crocus City Hall, a large shopping mall and music venue on Moscow's western outskirts. The attack occurred shortly after Russian President Putin's recent electoral victory, underscoring its significance.

Videos circulating on social media depicted gunmen firing at civilians within the venue at close range. The theatre's roof collapsed during the early hours of Saturday as firefighters battled a fire that erupted during the assault.
