Ujjain: In connection with the second phase of Deendayal Antyodaya Rasoi Yojana, a meeting of district level coordination and monitoring committee was held on Monday under the chairmanship of collector Asheesh Singh. In the meeting, discussions were held to establish kitchen centres at three places in the city from November 17.
In the first phase, Ujjain Municipal Corporation had set-up kitchen centre under Deendayal Antyodaya Rasoi Yojana at Nanakheda Bus Stand to serve citizens and relatives of patients in District Hospital or Civil Hospital. It was decided in the meeting that in the second phase, kitchen centres should be established at three other places in the city.
It was decided to set-up kitchen centre at places where the number of labourers is more and where there is more movement of poor citizens. For this, it was decided to open the first kitchen centre at Fazalpura Rainbasera near grain market and second kitchen centre at Rainbasera located in Ghas Mandi area. Similarly, keeping in mind devotees coming to the city, it was decided to select site for third kitchen centre in Narsing Ghat area.
