Dehradun: The corona epidemic has staggered the country, while the coronavirus is growing rapidly in Uttarakhand. After seven months, the highest number of 630 new patients have been reported in a day. Three corona patients have succumbed to their injuries in 24 hours. Now the figure for active patients has reached 1,425. The number of corona patients in hospitals in the state has started increasing. So far, 3,47,098 people have been infected in the State.

According to the health department, the test report of 16,214 samples on Thursday came out negative. In 12 districts, 630 people were found corona positive. 268 infected have been found in the Dehradun district. While 119 have been found positive in Haridwar, 85 in Nainital, 72 in Pauri, 35 in Udham Singh Nagar, 18 in Almora, 11 in Uttarkashi, eight in Champawat, five in Chamoli, four each in Tehri and Pithoragarh, one in Bageshwar district. No new case has been found in the Rudraprayag district. On 4th June 2021, 892 positive patients were found in a day in the State.

Three corona patients have died in Dehradun and Haridwar districts in which one patient succumbed to his injuries at AIIMS Rishikesh, Doon Medical College and Haridwar. A total of 7,423 patients have died so far. On the other hand, 128 patients have been sent home after recovery. Including these, 331756 patients have been cured. The state's recovery is 95.58 per cent. While the graph of infection rate is increasing on the basis of sample test. Within a week, the infection rate has reached around four per cent.
