In this episode, the administration will run a stick against about 3000 encroachments of the city. In the same city, more than five thousand small and big encroachments have been broken. Where last year, on the decision of a PIL, the High Court had directed to remove encroachment from the city of Dehradun. Under this, encroachments were marked on the basis of the map of the year 1938. In February this year, a committee should be formed by the District Magistrate and work should be done to remove encroachment at different places.
According to the same information, due to the Lok Sabha elections, the campaign had to be stopped due to the code of conduct in March. After this, the campaign was resumed from September 2. During the campaign which lasted for about a month, more than two thousand encroachments were broken, while more than three thousand were marked. Where the Additional District Magistrate Administration Ramjisharan Sharma said that the administrative staff will be busy in very special works till the first week of December. After this, this campaign will be started again in the second week. An action plan is being prepared soon in this regard.
