New Delhi: Protests are taking place across the country today against the Citizenship Amendment Act and NRC. Protests are taking place in many places in Delhi too. In many places, including the Red Fort, ITO, Mandi House, people are opposing the citizenship law. Delhi Police has also implemented section 144 in the Red Fort area. At the same time, due to the performance, there is also a problem of traffic in many places.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has closed 20 metro stations in view of the protests. Entry and exit gates of all these stations are locked and now trains will not stop here. However, Delhi Metro has said that the facility to change the metro at Mandi House and Central Secretariat will be restored. After closing 16 metro stations, the DMRC has also closed Barkhamba, Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, and Delhi Gate metro stations in the afternoon.

Some users tweeted to Airtel on Twitter because of internet shutdown, then Airtel replied that the company has received instructions from the government.
