Corona antibodies found in 29 % people in Delhi: Sero Report

New Delhi: Antibodies against the coronavirus have been found in about 29 percent  people in Delhi. This information has been revealed in the report of the second serosurvey. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has given information about the second serological (sero) survey on Thursday.

While giving information, Health Minister Satyendra Jain has said that "In the second serosurvey, antibodies have been found in 28.3 percent of men and 32.2 percent of women. Antibodies against corona have been found in 6 lakh people. About 15 thousand samples were taken for this. Earlier, the first serosurvey was conducted under the NCDC, in which antibodies were found in about 23.48 percent people. The first serosurvey in Delhi was conducted under the leadership of NCDC. 21,387 samples were taken between 27 June and 5 July. Out of this, antibodies were found in 23.48 percent people".

After this report, it was said that about a quarter of the people in Delhi have got corona infection and they have recovered. Antibodies are a big thing in a quarter of the population of about 5 lakh people. For this reason, the Delhi government decided to conduct a serosurvey every month.
