A large number of beds have been prepared for the patients in view of the rapid increase in the corona. Now the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is about to arrange a 500-bed hospital with a corona facility near Delhi Airport. Earlier, in the early week of February 1000 beds were arranged for the corona patients near the airport. Now the 500-bed hospital is going to be built again at this place.

The system of recruiting patients has been estimated to start from next week i.e. Monday. 250 beds are expected to be ready by Monday. The remaining 250 beds are expected to be arranged in a few days. These beds are being prepared by DRDO and DGAFMS is going to have a medical team. These special beds will have a variety of facilities.

1. All beds with oxygen facilities.
2. There will be a large number of ventilators.
3. No charges will be made.
4. Basic testing facility will be done.
5. There will be air-conditioning as per WHO standards.
6. If there is a neuro or cardiac case, the patient will be referred to AIIMS.

The bed facility is same as last time. Although this time some improvements in the facilities of beds can be done. The demand for beds has increased due to the increase in the number of corona patients in many places of the country including Delhi. Delhi's CM Arvind Kejriwal said today that there is a shortage of oxygen and Remedisvir injection in Delhi. There is also a shortage of oxygen beds. ICU beds are fewer. Help has been sought from the Central Government to increase the supply of beds and oxygen.
