New Delhi: Indian Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju had tested positive for deadly virus corona on Saturday. He has informed about his health taking it to Twitter handle. He has said that he tested positive for COVID-19 but is feeling "fit and fine." 

The 49-year-old Kiren wrote in his tweet:" After getting repeated test for Covid-19, today my report has come out positive." Further the tweet reads "I'm taking the advice of the Doctors. I request all those who have come in my contact recently to be observant, exercise self-quarantine and get themselves tested. I'm physically fit and fine." Mr Rijiju visited Uttarakhand on Friday for the inauguration purpose of a Water Sports and Adventure Institute in Tehri. In the inauguration program, State chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat was also present. Recently, CM Rawat was also infected from the dreaded infection. 

Talking about corona surge across nation, India is witnessing an unprecedented increase in novel coronavirus cases. According to latest reports, 2,34,692 active cases for infections have been reported in the country.
