New Delhi: A fire broke out in the ICU ward of The Brahma Shakti Hospital in Rohini in the national capital on Saturday morning. According to information, the fire broke out on the third floor of the hospital. At the same time, a patient who was kept on ventilator support in the ICU also died. It is feared that the patient has lost his life due to the fire.

The rest of the patients were safely rescued from the ward on time. It is being told that the patient who died was on ventilator.  Delhi Fire Service Director Atul Garg said that nine fire tenders were sent to the spot as soon as the fire was reported in the hospital. He said the fire had been completely brought under control. At the same time, the police and fire department team are ascertaining the cause of the fire in the hospital.

On June 8, a fire broke out in the basement of a building in Delhi's Lajpat Nagar. Around 80 lives were saved by breaking the glass behind the building. The fire broke out in the electric panel of the basement of axis bank building in Lajpat Nagar. The fire was so intense that its flames had reached all the three floors up to the top.
