The present Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, while expressing grief over the incident of fire in the grain market area of Delhi, described it as very terrible. He tweeted that the incident of fire in Grain Mandi area on Rani Jhansi Road of Delhi is very terrible. My condolences to the families of the dead.

In his statement, he further wrote that I wish the injured to be healthy soon. Officers at the scene are providing all possible help.

For your information, let us tell you that 43 people have died so far in the horrific fire in the grain city of Delhi in the wee hours of Sunday. According to Delhi Police, most of these people died of suffocation. Most of the people who died are being told of UP and Bihar.

Apart from this, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has expressed grief over the incident. He has said that the rescue operation is going on. Firemen are giving their best. The injured are being taken to hospitals, while Delhi government minister Imran Hussain has said that this incident (fire) is very sad. It will be investigated and action will be taken against whoever is responsible for it. No one will be spared.

The same Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi has said in a tweet that I am hurt by the news of the death of many people and injuries to many people due to the huge fire in the grain market of Delhi. I express my deepest condolences to the family of the dead and wish the injured well soon.
