New Delhi: CNG prices have once again seen a rise in the country's capital Delhi. From today i.e. Saturday (December 17), the price of CNG has been increased by 95 paise. Let us tell you that, till now, for CNG in Delhi, you have to pay Rs 78.61 per kg, while now you will have to pay Rs 79.56 per kg. The new price has come into effect from 6 am today. Earlier on October 8, the price of CNG was increased by three rupees per kg.

Let us tell you that the price of CNG increased earlier also before Diwali people got a big shock. At that time IGL had increased the prices by Rs 3. At the same time, the prices of PNG were also increased by Rs 3. Such a quick increase in the prices of CNG put a huge burden on the common people. Due to this, companies providing cab services can also increase their rates. Cab companies like Ola-Uber have already done this. At the same time, this increase can also increase the burden of inflation for people traveling by auto.

Both the increase or decrease in the prices of gas produced in India is decided by the central government, no private company has a hand in this. The government revises the prices twice a year. The first change takes place on March 31, while the second change is done on September 30. The first rate hike is applicable from April 1 to September 30, while the second is applicable from October 1 to March 30.
