Patna: Political tussle continues over liquor ban in Bihar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar raised many questions while attacking the BJP in the Bihar Assembly on Friday. CM Nitish Kumar said that Madhya Pradesh has the maximum number of deaths due to spurious liquor. Other BJP-ruled states including Uttar Pradesh had more deaths due to spurious liquor than Bihar. But no one talks about the incidents in those states. Raising the question, Nitish said that even in the BJP-ruled state of Gujarat, liquor is banned, so why are deaths due to spurious liquor there? 

Chief Minister Nitish said that Bihar is the only state which is trying to implement prohibition with full vigor. People are being arrested in large numbers here. Government employees are also being sacked. We have told the office bearers to catch the real one who messes up. If a poor man gets involved in work with someone, explain to him. The government will give money to start other work. Do you people also know about Lord Krishna? Find out. You will also see the Muslim society. Liquor has been described as bad everywhere. He said that when we went to many places, the people of the opposition also used to speak in our favor there, today they are saying the opposite.

CM Nitish said that when PM Narendra Modi had come to Bihar, he had appreciated the liquor ban here. BJP also had support for prohibition. Nowadays, we are separated from them, so these people are creating a ruckus. What the opposition is saying these days, means that they are trying to bring someone or the other with them. Who will go where, it is their own wish. Everyone in the world cannot be perfect. This is simply not possible. Once more we will go everywhere and say that if someone is speaking in favor of liquor then it will not work in your interest. The Chief Minister targeted the BJP they are engaged in creating quarrels. Hindu-Muslim creates tension in everyone. Without naming AIMIM chief Owaisi, the CM said that BJP is keeping one under its wing. They tell them to abuse us so that the votes of the Muslims are divided. He said that the central government is not doing development work anywhere. Only engaged in propaganda.
