Investigation has started in the Grain Market fire case in Delhi. On Wednesday morning, the CBI CFSL team, Crime Branch and BSES team reached the spot for investigation. The 8-member team of CFSL has gathered important evidence from the factory after nearly 5 hours of effort. It is expected that the CFLL report will come within 15 days, in which the main reasons for the fire will be revealed.

Factory owners and managers sent to police custody for 14 days

The crime branch's team arrested 9 eyewitnesses and factory owner Rehan after several hours of questioning over the matter last night and arrested her brother-in-law and partner Suhail (32) in the building. Though the team of Crime Branch raided 6 places in search of Rihan's second brother Imran, but he is still absconding.

In his statement, the police officer said that all the dead have been identified and their postmortem has been done. While the post mortem report will also be important evidence, in which it will be clear how many people died due to burns and how many people died of suffocation. The report has also been sought by the other BSES department, in which a short circuit and other reasons will be known. 43 people died in a fierce fire on Sunday (December 8) in a four- floored building in Grain Market area on Rani Jhansi Road, Delhi.
