New Delhi: The corona epidemic in Delhi has aggravated the situation. There is a record number of cases and a huge shortage of resources in the hospitals. At any time, it may be reported that the ICU beds in Delhi are over. There is already a huge shortage of oxygen. How corona infection is spreading among Delhiites can be gauged from the positive report of every third report in the corona test being conducted.

Earlier on Sunday, 25,462 new corona cases have been registered in the capital, the highest ever. The rate of positive treatment of corona patients has gone up to 29.74 percent. In the last 24 hours, 161 patients have lost their lives. Meanwhile, there is a demand for a complete lockdown in the capital Delhi. It is being said that the Government may announce a complete lockdown of 14 days. CM Arvind Kejriwal has a crucial meeting with the Lieutenant Governor on Monday in this regard. A weekend curfew has been imposed in Delhi now, but it does not seem to be benefiting. Kejriwal will hold a press conference in a short while.

On the other hand, there is a lot of politics on the corona. The BJP has accused Kejriwal of playing politics even in difficult times. Kejriwal has accused the Centre of giving oxygen to other states in part of Delhi. The BJP says Kejriwal sometimes says he has enough beds, while the next day he talks about the bad ending.
