Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, while still in jail under Enforcement Directorate custody due to a case related to excise policy, has issued his second order. This time, it concerns the health department, according to a spokesperson from the Aam Aadmi Party.

Kejriwal's latest directive comes after his first order on March 24, where he emphasized the need for ample water tankers to be provided in areas facing shortages before the summer months set in. He also instructed officials, including the chief secretary, accordingly.

Despite Kejriwal's arrest, the Aam Aadmi Party remains firm that he will continue to fulfill his duties as Delhi's Chief Minister. However, navigating prison regulations might present significant obstacles.

Today, Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj is set to address a press conference at 10 am regarding the latest directive from the incarcerated CM.

Meanwhile, Security in and around Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence in Delhi has been heightened as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) called for a protest, or "gherao," following the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, a police official confirmed on Tuesday. Authorities have also increased security measures across various parts of the national capital.

A Delhi Traffic Police official mentioned potential disruptions to movement in New Delhi and Central Delhi due to the planned protest.

"We've put in place strong security measures. Multiple layers of security have been set up to ensure law and order in the vicinity," stated the Delhi Police official.
