New Delhi: Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal said on Saturday that she has been confirmed infected in the corona test and is feeling quite ill. She tweeted that the infection in the corona test has been confirmed. Feeling very sick with a high fever. Isolate myself. People in touch with me are requested to get their RTPCR checked. Maliwal has also asked people to be vigilant.

Swati Maliwal has said that 'Even after doing so much work at the ground level, till now was saved from coronavirus. Omicron is very contagious, everyone please take precautions.' Four days ago, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also got corona infected. He had also informed about himself being corona positive by tweeting. Kejriwal told that he has minor symptoms and is living in isolation at home. He had also participated in many rallies in Punjab and Uttarakhand before getting infected with Corona.

Delhi has seen a sharp rise in corona cases in the last few days. Delhi has registered 17,335 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the transition rate to 17 per cent. These figures are extremely disturbing, after which weekend curfew has also been imposed in Delhi.
