New Delhi: No patient died of corona infection in the national capital on Friday while 57 new cases were registered. According to data shared by the city's health department, the rate of infection in the city has been recorded at 0.08 percent. This is the 11th time since the second wave of global epidemic began in the national capital that no patient has lost his life in a day.
As per official data, no patient died of corona infection on 18th July, 24th July, 2nd August, 4th August, 8th August, 11th August, and 12th August, 13th August, and 16th August also. On March 2 this year, no one died due to coronavirus in the city. The number of infected people in a day was 217 and the infection rate was 0.33 percent on that day. The second wave in the city had started showing effect during April-May.
According to the latest bulletin, 57 new cases were reported on Friday and the infection rate has increased to 0.08 percent. According to official data, 25 new covid-19 cases were registered on Thursday, the lowest since April 15 last year and two patients died while the infection rate was 0.04 percent. On Wednesday, there were 36 cases in the city and four patients were reported dead while the infection rate was 0.05 percent.
