New Delhi: A major accident took place in the Geeta Colony area of the national capital on Saturday night. In fact, at around 10.30 pm here, a white BMW coming from Geeta Colony towards Shanti Van hit four cars and a scooty. On getting information, Kotwali police station staff rushed to the spot and caught the BMW driver. According to reports, the BMW was being run by former MLA from Sagar in Madhya Pradesh, Sunil Jain, and in this accident, people have suffered minor injuries, who have been admitted to a nearby hospital by the PCR.

In this case, the police said that Sunil Jain's speeding BMW first hit a Kia Seltos, which collided with a wagon R and a scooty going ahead. The WagonR car driver and the scooty rider suffered minor scratches in the incident. They were immediately admitted to the hospital, where they were discharged after first aid.

A case has been registered under Section 279/337 of the IPC in this regard. According to the police, two persons were present in the BMW at the time of the accident and liquor bottles and empty glasses were also found in the car. Now the police are trying to find out whether Sunil Jain was also drunk at the time of the accident or not.
