NEW DELHI: To ensure that no student would face obstacles in preparation for the entrance test due to a lack of funds, several Delhi government schools - under an initiative - have helped the aspiring students in preparations by providing them with "adequate" support at the school level itself. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being conducted for admission to higher education courses.Students in several Delhi government schools received free coaching sessions for the CUET. Additionally, through online mock exam series, students  in government schools were exposed to Computer Based Tests (CBTs).

Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister and minister of education, spoke with students at Kautilya Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in South-East Delhi on Monday to learn more about their preparation and "raise their confidence" in front of the entrance exam.

The Deputy Chief Minister praised the efforts of the south-east district's schools, noting that lately, 20 days of CUET preparation courses were held there for approximately 5000 students, which is "a critical step towards moving these students closer to their dream institutions."

The objective was to familiarise students with CBT in addition to assisting them with subject preparation. The technical team assisted in running five online CBTs for that. Evaluation of the pupils' abilities and knowledge was also made easier.
