New Delhi: In Kejriwal government, Health Minister Satyendra Jain said on Thursday that "We cannot say that the second round of corona pandemic has started in the capital". On Wednesday, 2,509 new cases of infection were registered in Delhi, which is the largest figure in one day in the last two months.

He told in the press conference that people should not put so much emphasis on data. Satyendra Jain said that "The Delhi government is increasing the number of corona testing and the government wants that there should be no cases of infection in the city. After a decline in new cases for a long time, there has been an increase in new cases of coronavirus for the last week". When asked about the possibility of the second phase of Corona starting in Delhi, Jain said that "You cannot say that this is the second round of the pandemic".

He said that "We can say the second round when in a month or two, no infection cases come and then new cases start coming up. There are still patients of infection in Delhi and you should not get disturbed by the statistics". He said that "The death rate due to infection in Delhi was 0.75 per cent on Wednesday which is a good thing".
