New Delhi: The Delhi High Court is going to pronounce its verdict on Tuesday on the publisher's appeal after a ban on asaram's book. The appeal was filed in the High Court on behalf of the book's publisher Harper Collins as the lower court banned the publication of the book. The lower court, while banning the publication of the book, ordered that Asaram's appeal against being found guilty in the rape case is still pending in the Rajasthan High Court.

The Delhi High Court had reserved its verdict on September 9 after hearing both sides on a plea seeking to ban the publication of the book written on Asaram. Harper Collins, in a petition filed in the High Court, has urged Asaram to withdraw the interim stay on the publication of the book "Gunning for the Godman: The True Story Behind Asaram's Conviction."

Senior advocate and Congress leader Kapil Sibal, appearing for Harper Collins, said the trend has now increased that people go to court and bring unilateral stay orders during the release of the book. The book has reached out to distributors. Sibal told the court that 5,000 copies of the book had been printed. It was to be released on September 5, but the book was banned from the court on September 4.
