New Delhi: Is the salt used in your kitchen fake? Because fake salt can prove very dangerous for your health. If you are surprised to hear after the fake salt, then the Delhi Police has seized three thousand kg of fake salt of "Tata brand" used in every household.
On the basis of an intelligence input, the Delhi Police raided a company in the Prahladpur Bangar area and seized fake salt of two and a half kilo Tata brand and arrested the firm's owner Surajmal Singhal. Later, on the traces, three thousand kilograms of fake salt have been recovered by raiding in the Karala area of Delhi.
The police have also seized 2200 empty Tata salt bags from here. These people were preparing the fake "Tata" brand in this factory and supplying it in the market. In order to show fake salt as real Tata salt, its packing was also done exactly like the original packet, so that anyone can be deceived by seeing it. The accused had set up a machine for packing fake salt. Police is currently interrogating the accused.
