New Delhi: The national capital goes on with wobble under intense cold with a deep blanket of fog affecting all transport means the road, rail and air traffic on Thursday.

According to ANI, Delhi almost certainly experienced its coldest day of this season today as the minimum temperature recorded in the Palam this morning is at 7 degree Celsius.

Delhi keeps on to be wearing a veil in dense fog for the fourth consecutive day, which has severely affected services at both the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport and the railway stations.

 

Almost 49 trains were delayed, and at least 12 canceled because of intense fog and zero visibility.

Scores of passengers at a number of railway stations in north India have been left marooned after multiple trains have been canceled, delayed, and rescheduled because of the thick blanket of fog.

Low visibility due to the fog has also upset flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International airport as At least 20 flights were delayed, according to ANI.

For the moment, the armed soldiers remained braced in the intense cold weather conditions in the national capital region (NCR) to prepare for the Republic Day parade at Rajpath in the early hours of the morning.
