New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has released two murder accused on bail in a 2020 riots case in northeast Delhi, while the bail of one has been rejected. According to information, it was the murder case of an elderly woman, Akbari Begum, which was being heard in the High Court on Tuesday.

The accused had filed a bail application, out of which the court has released two accused on bail but one of the accused has been denied bail. According to information, Akbari Begum was a resident of Bhajanpura in northeast Delhi. According to the police, she was inside her house during the 2020 riots, during which her house was set on fire by a mob in which Akbari Begum lost her life.
