New Delhi: In the Batla House encounter case, Delhi's Saket court has found Indian Mujahideen terrorist Ariz Khan guilty. A decision on his sentence will be given on 15 March. Ariz Khan was arrested by Delhi Police in 2018. The court convicted Ariz Khan under the Arms Act and sections 302, 307 of the Indian Penal Code. Ariz was absconding since the 2008 Batla House encounter case and was arrested in Nepal in 2018.

Terrorist Ariz Khan has been convicted for the murder of Inspector Mohan Sharma, who lost his life in the Batla House encounter. At the same time, Ariz also tried to kill the policeman Balwant Singh-Rajveer. Convicting the court, the accused have been ordered by the court to inform the court about the financial condition of the family. After this, the court will decide how much amount can be recovered from his family.

Let us tell you that according to Delhi Police, Ariz Khan is a resident of Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh. Ariz Khan aka Junaid was arrested by the Special Cell team in February 2018. The plan to demolish the Indian Mujahideen was destroyed due to its capture.
