Unlike the previous semester's exams, which were held in an Open Book format, this semester's examinations were held in an Assignment Based Examination format. Students were given assignments throughout the semester, and scores that had a 20% weighting in the prior online semester's final results were scaled up to 100%.

While the second wave was peaking, the University of Delhi's examination department had the majority of its staff infected with COVID-19. As a result, students were graded only on the basis of their work.
