A 43-year-old woman from Delhi sent a scandalous email to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, on which the Indian Embassy in London, the Ministry of External Affairs and the Delhi Police swung into action and stopped her from committing suicide. Police said that on Wednesday night the woman said in an e-mail "If I'll not be provided help within two hours, then I will commit suicide." Police said that this woman seems to be suffering from a mental disorder due to the breakdown of her marriage.

A senior police officer said that the Indian embassy in London was immediately informed, who contacted the officials of the Ministry of External Affairs and asked for a quick response as the woman's life was in danger. The case was registered at Amar Vihar police station in Rohini, after which the police went door-to-door in the late-night area to locate the woman as she did not write her full address in the email and did not even answer the phone call. 

Officers said that the woman had probably sent an email to the British PM seeking help. The woman is seen as mentally disturbed. Police officials said that the woman is troubled by debt and lives in a rented house in Rohini area of ​​Delhi. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) PK Mishra told, "This information reached the Aman Vihar police station in Rohini area. The woman did not write her full address in the mail". He said that around one o'clock in the night the police went door-to-door in the area to try to locate her and two hours later she was found. The DCP said that the woman did not open the door despite repeated calls and the police had to call fire personnel to break the door. After some time, the woman came out and she was scared and restless.
