Prayagraj: After the Braj area, dengue and viral fever are now wreaking havoc in Kanpur and Prayagraj as well. In Kanpur, about 100 fever patients are reaching the hospital every day, while Prayagraj has reported 97 dengue cases. The health department says the case may increase further right now. In view of which all security measures are being taken. Dr. Anil Nigam, CMS, Ursala Hospital, Kanpur, said that 75-100 fever patients are reaching the hospital every day.

Dengue cases have been confirmed in 2 patients in rapid tests, but Eliza's test has revealed dengue. Currently, there is not a single dengue patient in the hospital. CMO Nanak Saran said a total of 97 patients have been reported suffering from dengue so far, out of which 9 are undergoing treatment.
