New Delhi: Making a statement on the historic decision taken by the Modi government on Kashmir, Deobandi Ulema Maulana Qari Ishaq Gora has said that the resolution to remove Section 370 relating to Jammu and Kashmir is a big decision taken by the Modi government. I think, after this decision, there should be good results for India and Kashmir, and my only point is to ensure that Kashmir and India are fully protected and Kashmiris are taken care of.

Maulana Qari Ishaq Gora said, "We have been raising our voice against torture from the beginning. All we have to say is that there should not be any excess of Kashmiris because Kashmiris are ours. A major announcement has been made by the central government in the Rajya Sabha on Monday over Jammu and Kashmir. Home Minister Amit Shah introduces Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill in the Upper House. It also pledged to remove Section 370 from the state.

Amit Shah said that the BJP does not have the political will. We don't have to make vote banks. We are ready to answer every question on K. NSA Ajit Doval is expected to visit Jammu and Kashmir today following the government's historic decision. He is said to have visited the valley to find out the ground reality of the situation there.
