Indore: With the removal of Sections 370 and 35A granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir, BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has expressed happiness that "Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have enjoyed freedom in reality today. The proposal was brought by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in view of the confidence of the country's voice. The people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were deeply disturbed by Section 370, but now that 35A has been removed and a resolution to remove 370 has been moved. It will also boost the morale of the army," he said.

The BJP General Secretary tweeted, "Government in the right direction. The government's offer to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir is a welcome step. Jammu and Kashmir was given Union Territory status as per the Reorganisation Bill. Ladakh will also become a Union Territory," he said.

On the other hand , Kailash Vijayvargiya also attacked on the opposition and said that they eat in but talk about  the Pakistan. He further said, "PM Modi had promised the people of the country and the people of the country had expressed confidence in Modiji, according to which Modiji has acted. The people of Kashmir were disturbed by 370."
