After the last rites of Lata Mangeshkar, Dharmendra spoke to a famous website. During this conversation, the veteran actor said 'I was very uncomfortable and restless. I got ready not once but three times to go to Didi's funeral yesterday. But each time, I was pulling myself back.'

With this, Dharmendra further said, ''I didn't want to see them leave us like this. I felt very uncomfortable and restless to hear the news of Lata Mangeshkar's demise yesterday. I also want to tell you that she also used to send me gifts sometimes. She used to motivate me a lot and keep telling me to 'Stay strong.' I remember writing a slightly sad post on Twitter once and she immediately called and asked if I was okay and spoke to me for 30 minutes to make me happy. Often, we talked for 25-30 minutes. She gave a lot of love to me.''

Let us tell you all that Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last on February 6 at The Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai and so far people are immersed in her memories.
