'Congress President should be from Gandhi-Nehru family': Digvijay Singh

Bhopal: On factionalism in Congress, senior party leader and former CM of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh said that those who are dissatisfied with the leadership of the party should have put their point on the appropriate platform. He was not required to write a letter. When he did not challenge the top leadership of the Congress, the situation should be clear about what he wants to say. I do not believe that Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi do not give time to those who want to keep their problems.

Digvijay Singh said that if Sonia Gandhi wants to step down from the post of President, then convince Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi should be given this post. She has already offered to resign. Digvijay Singh said that the Nehru-Gandhi family is the power to keep the Congress united and the party president should be from the Gandhi family. Like Manmohan Singh, if you want to give a post to someone else, it can be given. If someone wants to become president, then he should keep his candidature in its election.

Digvijay Singh said clearly that those who are against Rahul Gandhi should come forward. However, Digvijay Singh did not give any answer as to what the party leaders must have been behind writing the letter. Digvijay Singh said that everyone is heard in the Congress Working Committee (CWC) and instead of writing a letter, the leaders of the party should have put their problems on the appropriate platform of the CWC.
