Digvijay Singh raised the question on BJP, says 'We only want to know about NRC'

Senior Indian National Congress leader Digvijay Singh urged the BJP to clarify whether it plans to implement the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the country. Digvijay Singh told reporters on Saturday that we only want to know about NRC. Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji says something while Amit Shah and JP Nadda ji are saying something else. We want to know whether BJP is planning to bring NRC or not?

According to media reports, Digvijay said that people who are angry should question the author of the book rather than the Congress Seva Dal, while answering questions about the controversy over Veer Savarkar's objectionable statement printed in the Congress Seva Dal's booklet. Digvijay said that it is wrong to comment on someone's personal life first, but the Congress Seva Dal has not written anything. People should question Dominic Lapierre about it.

Congress Party is on the target of BJP, Shiv Sena and other parties regarding this booklet. Savarkar's grandson also requested the Madhya Pradesh government to ban the Congress booklet and requested to file a case in this regard. Significantly, the book named 'Veer Savarkar Kise Veer' was distributed in a program by the Congress Seva Dal in Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal recently. In this, objectionable comments were made about Nathuram Godse, the killer of Savarkar and Mahatma Gandhi. Since then, Congress has been criticized.
