On the occasion of actor Mahendran's birthday on Sunday, director Lokesh Kanakaraj unveiled the first look of filmmaker Arun Karthik's next horror-comedy 'Ripupbury,' which stars vijay.

Director Arun Karthik,said, "My movie will be a full-fledged horror comedy set in the countryside. It's about three persons that find themselves in a gothic situation." Mahendran plays a boy next door in the film, and this is the weirdest part he's ever played.

Kavya Arivumani, who is well known for her role as 'Mullai' in the Tamil television series 'Pandian Stores,' will also appear in the movie. "After watching the Telugu film 'Jathi Rathnalu,' I wanted to make a similar stress buster in Tamil," Arun says of what prompted him to come up with this concept.
