After a brief hiatus, director S Narayan is preparing a script to helm a romantic movie which will be akin to his super hit films like Chaitrada Premanjali and Chandra Chakori. The filmmaker is looking out for fresh faces for a new movie which will go on floors later this year.
S Narayan says, “People have been asking me about when I will direct romantic love stories again. I am fine tuning a script which demands fresh faces, so I have decided to launch auditions to select the female protagonist. The hero is yet to be decided. It’s a pure love story which will have a few commercial elements that will strike a chord with audiences.”
The director has almost completed major portions of shooting for the suspense thriller 5D, which has Adithya and Aditi Prabhudeva in lead roles. He adds that 80 per cent of shooting was done before the lockdown was announced. “We are planning to resume shooting after revealing the first look in July. 5D is again a different genre for me, which I have not tried before,” he says.
