Today is the death anniversary of Indira Gandhi, the first woman Prime Minister of the country, Indira inherited power. But to date have you ever tried to peep into Indira Gandhi's lifetime? Was she also worthy to be the Prime Minister of this country? From emergency, Muslim appeasement to riot politics, Indira Gandhi was the target of opponents as well as several Congress leaders. Today, we are telling you the full story of Indira Gandhi becoming Maimuna Begum.

India is in our possession:-

Veteran Congress leader and former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh had made sensational revelations in this regard in his book "Profile and Letters" (ISBN: 8129102358). Natwar Singh writes, "I was in Afghanistan with Maimuna Begum alias Indira Gandhi. At night Indira expressed her desire to go to Babur's tomb, so I accompanied her to the tomb. I saw that Indira Gandhi said there that we are your heirs and even today the country is in our possession. I was shocked and stunned. It is clear that we handed over the command of the country to the Mughals after independence, from the Babur and his descendants from whom brave sons like Maharana Pratap and Shivaji fought till their last breath to save India.''

1971 War and 54 Indian Soldiers:-

Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of the country in 1971 when Pakistan attacked Bangladesh (then East Pakistan). Indira Gandhi is considered to have played a major role in liberating Bangladesh. But very few people would know that 93,000 Pakistani soldiers and civilians were arrested by the Indian Army in this war. The number of Pakistani soldiers was 81,000 and the number of civilians was 12,000. But after this war, Indira Gandhi in love with Pakistan sent all those prisoners of war back to Pakistan.  However, no agreement was reached to free 54 Indian soldiers captured by Pak during the same war. These 54 soldiers are still called Missing 54 in the country. Out of these 54 soldiers, 30 were army soldiers and 24 were Air Force soldiers. I wish a nationalist was the head of the country at that time, like 'Abhinandan,' those 54 sons of Mother Bharati would have returned and perhaps the Kashmir problem would have been solved in exchange for the release of 93,000 Pakistani soldiers.

Expelled from university due to poor manner:-

Jawaharlal Nehru sent Indira Gandhi to oxford university with high hopes so that she could do some good to the country by studying. But in no time Indira is expelled from the university due to poor performance. Its elder Nehru admitted to Rabindranath Tagore-run 'Santiniketan,' but would you call it a coincidence that Tagore also expelled Indira from Santiniketan due to 'bad conduct'? So could Indira Gandhi's conduct be worthy of becoming the Prime Minister of the country because of her 'conduct' that she could not complete her studies from anywhere?  And they also know what bad conduct was.

Countless illicit relationships:-

Rabindranath Tagore is said to have come to know of Indira Gandhi's love affair, so he decided to remove Indira without thinking that the atmosphere in Santiniketan had deteriorated. In her book "The Life of Indira Nehru Gandhi," Catherine Frank highlights Indira Gandhi's many love affairs, as well as K.N. Rao's book "Nehru Dynasty" also reveals her ties. It is clearly written that Indira was in an immoral relationship with a German teacher in Santiniketan, perhaps that is why Tagore expelled her. Indira later had an affair with her father's secretary M O Mathai, which Mathai himself revealed in his book "Reminiscences of the Nehru Age." Indira also had close relations with her yoga teacher Dhirendra Brahmachari and former External Affairs Minister Dinesh Singh. Mathai, Nehru's secretary, had opened so many dark secrets of the Nehru family in his book "Reminiscences of the Nehru Age" that shortly after its publication, the Congress government banned it and all copies were seized. The point to think here is that if the king of the country is so lustful and luxurious, we have seen in the story of rulers like King Dhanananda of Magadha.

How She Became Mamuna Begum:-

After leaving Santiniketan, Indira Gandhi stopped studying and came home and was completely alone. By that time Indira's mother Kamala Nehru had already died and her father was busy with politics. Her loneliness is said to have been exploited by a businessman named Feroz Khan who used to go to Nehru's house to deliver liquor. During this period, relations were established between Feroze Khan and Indira Gandhi. The then Governor of Maharashtra, Dr Sriprakash, had also warned Nehru that Indira was having a close relationship with Feroz Khan. But Nehru, who was busy with politics and 'Edwina,' could not pay attention to it, and Indira went to a Mosque in London and got married to Feroze and converted to the Muslim religion and named herself Maimuna Begum. Though it was Indira's personal issue to get rid of Feroze and become a Muslim, it deceived the countrymen, which was a national issue. After Indira became a Muslim, Nehru began to fear going to the prime ministership because he wanted to see Indira become a PM. Now Nehru persuades Feroze Khan to change his surname to Gandhi and assure him that there is no need to use Gandhi instead of the surname Khan alone and change religion. The two changed their surnames and when the two came to India, they were married to Hindu customs to fool the people. At the same time, Firoz Khan becomes Feroze Gandhi and millions of countrymen become 'fools,' who are still being made today.
