In fact, Samiran Panda also said, "In districts where the effect of the second wave was low, the effect of the third wave could be worse. In such a situation, it is very important to get the vaccine done in these districts on time.'' At the same time, it is important to create an environment that is not conducive to viral spread as a third wave can be seen in such areas. On the other hand, Maharashtra State Task Force member Shashank Joshi called for a district-wise serosurvey with a special focus on less affected areas during the second wave. He said, "Where the first second wave has caused damage, there is estimated to be less danger during the third wave.''
