New Delhi: The National Medical Commission and Dental Council of India has issued an important notice for the Indian Medical Students. In the notice, the students have been told not to go to Pakistan to study or else you will not be eligible for a job or higher education in India. Earlier, UGC and AICTE had issued notices to Indian students, instructing them not to study in Pakistan.

National Medical Commission (NMC) and Dental Council of India (DCI) have issued new advisory regarding Indian medical students. Which states that, 'All students are advised not to travel to Pakistan for pursuing medical/dental education. Any Indian citizen/foreign national of India who is desirous of taking admission in MBBS/BDS or its equivalent medical/dental course in any Medical Dental College in Pakistan will not be eligible for job or higher education in India.

In the notice, it has been further told to the students that those who joined Pakistan Degree College Institutions before December 2018 will be given concession in this. In the notice, security reasons have been cited by the Ministry of Home Affairs. However, migrants and their children who have obtained a medical degree or higher education in Pakistan and have acquired citizenship by the Government of India. They will be eligible to take admission in National Exit Test or get employment in India after getting security clearance.
