Dehradun: There are claims of possibility of getting Sanjeevani Boots on Dronagiri mountain in Chamoli district. To investigate the possibility of being a Sanjeevani herb, this herb is being sent to the National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, NBRI, to confirm the claims of the botanists of the Forest Research Branch. So that its chemical properties can be tested to find out whether it is a lifesaving herb or not.

Scientists claiming the discovery of the Sanjeevani herb say that the herbs discovered in the Jauljeevi region of Pithoragarh are exactly the same as those found on the Dronagiri mountain in Chamoli region, while the Sanjeevani herb discovered by the scientists is from the Forest Research Branch It is being preserved in the nursery at Haldwani. It is said that the feature of Sanjeevani herb is that it becomes green as soon as it is put in water, the Director of Forest Research Branch and the Conservator of Forests, Sanjeev Chaturvedi informed that the herb has been discovered in Jauljeevi by the scientists of the institute. The speciality of that herb is that it looks exactly like dry grass and as soon as it is put in water, then the herb becomes completely green and this is being studied for inspection. And research is also being done about which chemical element is there in this herb, which when exposed to water, the herb becomes green.
