The situation of comedian Raju Srivastva appears to have gotten worse. After having a heart attack while exercising in the gym, Raju was brought into the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on August 10. Recent reports from his team classified his status as "stable" despite the fact that he had been on a ventilator. On the other hand, his chief advisor revealed on Wednesday that the medical professionals attending to him have stated that the comedian's health has gotten worse and he is now practically brain dead.

Raju got a heart attack on Wednesday while at the gym. He collapsed after experiencing abrupt chest pain. To the AIIMS he was hurried. Following the spread of death rumors, his family released a statement on Friday pleading with fans to disregard rumors and false information. According to recent updates, he is still being watched, but his condition is getting better.

Ajit Saxena, Raju's advisor, said in a statement to Aaj Tak on Thursday that Raju's brain was almost completely dead as of this morning. Heart has issues as well. Everyone is praying and we are all concerned. Even his family struggles to comprehend what is going on. He also said that the entire team is currently pleading for a miracle.

The movies Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa, and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya are among those in which Raju has appeared. Raju spent the first part of his career on the periphery despite having been in a number of films prior. He rose to stardom following his appearance on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2005. Later, he performed in theatrical productions all over the world and made an appearance in the third season of the reality series Bigg Boss. He serves as the Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council's chairperson.
