New Delhi: NEET resident doctors across the country are striking in protest against repeated delays in conducting PG 2021 counselling. Now resident doctors of about 7 major hospitals in Delhi including Loknayak Hospital (LNJP hospital), Safdarjung have also announced the federation of resident doctors association (FORDA) to join the strike.
The Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA), FAIMA and IMA JDN had appealed to doctors across the country to strike against the delay in counselling of NEET PG 2021. Resident doctors from all corners of the country are then joining the strike. Resident doctors of LNJP will boycott OPD services from today. Resident doctors of Safdarjung, Lady Hardinge, Baba Ambedkar, DDU Hospital, Maulana Azad Medical College also announced the boycott of OPD services.
Resident doctors of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi have also announced to distance themselves from all regular services, OPD, EPD and elective ITS. Hospitals say they were assured by the health ministry of three days to settle the matter. But no steps have been taken by the government yet. In such a situation, we are now forced to strike to raise our voices.
