Washington: A series of violent protests continue in the US after the death of black American George Floyd. Seeing this violent demonstration, US President Donald Trump threatened to implement the Rebellion Act. This is a centuries-old law, which gives the President the right to send the American Army to control domestic violence happening in the country.

Addressing the nation from the White House Rose Garden, President Donald Trump has said, 'If a city or state refuses to take the necessary actions to protect the lives and property of its residents, then I will deploy and solve their problems soon. It is notable that on May 25, in Minnesota, black George Floyd was killed in police custody. George was arrested on charges of running a counterfeit note of only $ 20 and a policeman dropped him on the ground and held his neck with his feet until he died.

There is a lot of anger in America from this incident. Not only the people of the black community but also the white have come out on the streets regarding this matter. Furious demonstrations are taking place on the streets of America. Protesters also staged massive protests outside the White House on Monday. The police released tear gas shells to stop this demonstration. In the midst of protests and violence, President Donald Trump on Saturday tweeted, "Liberal governors and Mayors must take a strong stand against violence." If this does not happen, then the Federal Government will step in and do that, in which our army will get unlimited power and they can arrest people.
