Islamabad: The troubles of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan seem to be increasing. Now media reports have claimed that earlier this week, military officials had a meeting with the owners of all the major media organizations of the country in Islamabad. During this time, the powerful army gave him strict instructions to stop any coverage related to Imran Khan. This information has come to light at a time when there is a stir in Imran Khan's party after being arrested in the land fraud case. Many of Imran's companions are leaving him one by one.

According to the report, this ban imposed by the Pakistan Army is going to limit the media coverage of Imran Khan. This has been confirmed by more than half a dozen journalists in  the country. It was claimed that after the meeting, news organizations from all over the country ordered their journalists to stop the coverage of Imran. The Pakistani journalist was quoted as saying, "They have a lot of ways to harm media companies. Messing with their print distribution can hinder their cable distribution. Or else, directly blackmailing is also a way out.

According to the report, such a decree has been issued by the Government of Pakistan regarding Imran Khan. The Shehbaz government on Friday urged the country's media houses to refrain from publishing or broadcasting Imran Khan's speeches, statements, tweets or photographs. The government said it is ensuring that all social media activities of 70-year-old Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan are also banned.
