Mathura: After the order of Allahabad High Court, Dr Kafeel Khan has been released. He was lodged in the Mathura jail. During a hearing in the Allahabad High Court on Tuesday (September 1), a bench of Chief Justice Govind Mathur and Justice Soumitra Dayal Singh gave this order on the plea of Dr Kafeel's mother Nuzhat Parveen. Nuzhat Parveen had demanded the release of Dr Kafeel a long time ago.
There are reports about the cancellation of the NSA (National Security Act) imposed on Kafeel in this hearing. Now on release, Dr Kafeel Khan has targeted the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh fiercely. Recently, Dr Kafeel Khan said, "Thank you UP STF, who did not kill me in the encounter". He has alleged that he was kept hungry and thirsty for five days in jail. Apart from this, Dr Kafeel Khan has also thanked the Judicial system. He said, "I am very thankful to the Judiciary who gave unbias orders".
Dr Kafeel Khan also thanked all 138 crore countrymen and said, "I also thank those who have supported me in the struggle". Dr Kafeel Khan is very angry with the Yogi government and upon release, he lashed out at the Yogi government. Dr Kafeel Khan attacked Yogi Government and said, "Uttar Pradesh government imposed a false baseless case on me. The case was meaningless and they kept me in prison for 8 months. In prison, I was tortured for five days, I was not given food and water. I should thank the STF of Uttar Pradesh, who did not hit me in an encounter while bringing Mathura from Mumbai.''
